Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Chattanooga, TN - Military veterans preferred

A facility with a 12-bed ED is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. Ride the Incline Railway to the top of Lookout Mountain for stunning views of the city or explore the underground wonders of Ruby Falls. Visit the Tennessee Aquarium or enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and rock climbing in the nearby mountains. Qualified candidates for this position must be board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians or have completed a residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a minimum of two years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. The position offers 24-hour physician coverage with 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm and from 7 pm to 7 am. The facility utilizes Meditech EMR with dragon dictation and expects an annual patient volume of 10,000 to 12,000 visits. Onsite laboratory services, X-ray, and CT imaging are available to support patient care.
