A small/mid-size general hospital is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Goshen, IN. This is a full-time position at an outpatient cancer center starting around late July/early August, with credentials expected to take about 60 days and requiring full payer enrollment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with call duty of 1:3 or 1:4, including rounding on weekdays and covering weekend call every 3rd or 4th week. The daily patient volume is around 10-12, with hospital privileges required for 60-90 days and utilizing the Meditech EMR system. Support staff includes 2 MDs, 3 NPs, 1 PA, and 4 RNs. Board certification and an oncology fellowship are required, and candidates need an active state license or IMLC.
