Job Description We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Associate Director Lead of our Project Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and implementing project governance and execution process, overseeing project portfolios, supporting strategy development and execution and providing leadership and guidance to the PMO team. Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Lead our leadership teams on site in partnership with our Hoshin lead to ensure clear prioritisation, governance, and capacity planning for execution of our site strategy. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the PMO team, aligning project initiatives with organizational goals. Develop and implement PMO policies, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent project management across the organization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of project management processes. Work on and with our Capital Management process on site. Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of all projects within the organization's portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, resource optimization, and timely delivery. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. Provide regular reporting to senior management on project status, budgetary control, and resource utilization. Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality project delivery. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture, promoting professional growth and development opportunities. Implement effective resource allocation and workload management strategies across projects to optimize team productivity. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure effective communication, alignment, and buy-in for project initiatives. Act as a liaison between the PMO and other departments, facilitating clear and open lines of communication and promoting a culture of collaboration and partnership. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field or experience as a leader across teams Proven track record of successfully managing complex portfolios of projects and/or delivering business results. Good understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in leading a team and Talent development. Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience in leading key site strategic programs or projects.
