Shell Recharge Solutions is looking for a Product Manager to join our team and help bring the capabilities of our market leading Software-as-a-Service platform and our hardware systems to our customers. This AWS-based distributed multi-technology platform is central to an eMobility ecosystem that consists of massive worldwide cloud infrastructure, Electric Vehicle Chargers (L2 and DC Fast Charging), Battery Energy Storage systems, integration with regional Energy Utilities, Renewable Energy, and the hardware/software to facilitate administration, predictive management, and communication between sites and facilities.

This strategic role will focus on the following two key areas: 1) architect product strategy for all Shell Recharge Solutions hardware systems in both NA and ROW. And 2) partner strategy to work with operations team in managing hardware vendors.

This position will drive the productization of solutions for the residential market and build and execute the hardware strategy across all solution segments.

What you'll do:

Build user-centric (design first approach), data-driven products by championing products and features from conception to implementation. Continually review the customer, market competitive landscape by keeping up with the latest trends in the EV charging systems market. Determine customers and market need through persona-based research and product feedback and helping to define the overall customer journey and roadmap. Build, maintain and own a prioritized roadmap in collaboration with the cross functional stakeholders. Demonstrate business acumen by leading feature delivery and driving business results with cross functional departments such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Legal by approaching these interactions with collaboration and empathy towards common goals. Drive the overall commercialization strategy including GTM strategy, pricing and forecasting strategy, integration strategy (incl. software, hardware and services), implementation and reporting strategy. Demonstrate strong product judgement and expertise with an ability to formulate product strategy and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals and drive revenue. Formulate and test hypotheses, gather data, synthesize findings and promote data-literacy across the organization. Develop features, that can integrate in a variety of technical environments, using Agile / SCRUM methodology by effectively managing tradeoffs on scope, resources, timeline and customer benefit across multiple, complex feature sets. Drive product/solution launches through collaboration across cross functional teams. Work with commercial organization and operations to manage 5 Tier 1 hardware suppliers with Operations, participating in quarterly performance meetings, forecasting, and HSSE compliance requirements. Demonstrate business acumen by developing business plans for each solution area and work with Financial Planning & Analysis on pricing strategy and cost analysis Work with key regional commercial stakeholders on beta/pilot programs, launches, and initiatives Provide feedback to hardware partners on pricing, functionality, delivery timelines, look and feel, and other areas that affect end customer or economic buyer purchasing decision Serve as the focal point for all product and technology needed to execute on the strategies defined for Shell Recharge Solutions' hardware systems. Work with Hardware partner vendors Extend hardware footprint by productizing interoperability lab validation proficiency What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Product Manager within a technology environment 2+ years of technical vendor management Bachelor's Degree Required Must be willing and able to travel 25-50% Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree Preferred A record of successfully delivering complex products preferably hardware systems and business to consumer solutions Experience managing dependencies and received the agreement and trust of stakeholders to deliver a successful product Background collaborating with engineering / development teams Exceptional organization skills, meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking and capable of managing multiple priorities Proficient in Rally, JIRA, Confluence, and other development management tools Experience with electric vehicle charging software offerings and EVs is a plus Self-motivated and team-oriented individual who has passion to change the world.
