Sr. Manager Philanthropic Management at Coca-Cola Company Atlanta, GA | posted: November 14, 2023 About the job This individual will manage the end-to-end process of philanthropic giving for the North America Operating Unit (NAOU) to include Coca-Cola Foundation grants and sponsorships to assure alignment of giving allocations with philanthropic strategy and documentation. In addition, the individual will serve as the liaison with The Coca-Cola Foundation and work closely with the Stakeholder and Social Impact Management (SSIM) Budget Coordinator to manage and document all philanthropic giving. The position entails extensive and systematic collaboration with stakeholder partnership owners, other PAC functions, and The Coca-Cola Foundation. The successful candidate is curious, disciplined, detailed-oriented in execution and passionate about making a difference in the lives of communities, with excellent communication and analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to stay agile and balance competing priorities. Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end process of philanthropic giving for the NAOU to include Coca-Cola Foundation grants, sponsorships and any other financial giving at a national and local level, in alignment with the stakeholder partnership teams and other NAOU PACS teams, to maximize our impact and enhance our systems reputation; assure alignment of giving allocations with philanthropic strategy. Collaborate with The Coca-Cola Foundation team to assure compliance and timelines of governance requirements for all NAOU grants and work closely with the SSIM Budget Coordinator to track sponsorships and any other corporate giving Manage the administrative handling of all philanthropic requests that come to NAOU from any source; lead the review process with input from the stakeholder partnership teams to determine disposition of all requests; document all actions taken; manage award/decline communications to stakeholders and bottlers. Manage the community giving history; build and maintain the PowerBI dashboard for community giving history and philanthropic spend; provide data analytics/insights to support giving strategy by various stakeholder sectors, geographic region, etc.; complete annual giving surveys from external 3rd parties. Develop and manage a disciplined process and routines for a comprehensive philanthropic stewardship framework. Collaborate with community engagement manager and stakeholder managers on community event planning process. Collaborate with Platform Service team on maintaining the stakeholder management system (salesforce) Lead the adoption of SmartSimple (CRM) funding request approval process for NAOU PACS Regional, Government Affairs and Sustainability teams; Integrate sponsorship and grant data into full investment/impact analysis across all NAOU PACS functions. Perform compliance review for KO ticket donation and manage the in-kind donation process in collaboration with the admin assistant. Education Requirements Related Work Experience 8+ years experience in philanthropy, corporate giving or financial management; proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; strong business acumen and experience in data analysis, finance and reporting.
