Pediatric Medical Assistant - Village Pediatrics - Frisco, TX - Military veterans preferred

Village Health Partners / Village Pediatrics (now a part of Catalyst Health Group) is seeking a friendly and professional Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team in Frisco. We are a well-established primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services to our community. Responsibilities: Manage patient rooming to efficiently meet daily appointment schedules Review presenting issue, visit history, orders, and update EMR appropriately Obtain vital signs and prep patient for visit Fluent in medical terminology & medication refill protocols Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and updating patient records Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment Appropriately escalate issues outside of existing protocols to meet patient needs Work well with a diverse group of professionals in a team environment Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
