POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President, Quality Clinical Operations for Lifepoint Rehabilitation is responsible for driving organizational quality and clinical performance outcomes, while providing oversight to the clinical and operational needs of the Rehabilitation Division. The Vice President ensures the Division is performing at or above regulatory requirements and national benchmarks. The Vice Presidents infuses collaboration (facility, Division, JV partnership, Health Support Center) to delivering on expected quality and operational benchmarks. The Vice President leads the Division through a shared vision and purpose regarding exceptional patient care, advancing Lifepoint Healths National Quality Program.

Primary Focus:

  • leadership and guidance for the Quality Performance Team and field leadership related to quality, regulatory and accreditation, and compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory and Lifepoint Healths National Quality Program.
  • and assist as needed, the implementation of new hospitals (start up and acquisition) regarding standardization of Policies and Procedures, Program Standards, licensure, and regulatory and accreditation compliance.
  • and fosters strong working relationships and communication at all levels of the organization. Fosters an environment of collaboration and communication between Division and hospital teams to ensure timely implementation of new strategies and coordinate implementation of corrective strategies to resolve problems or situations that may arise.
  • as a member of the management team in developing the overall strategic plans necessary for short- and long-term success. Assess operating business risks and opportunities and identify strategies to mitigate or capitalize as appropriate.
  • for the measurement and effectiveness of clinical processes. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the clinical outcomes of the company.
  • in the recruitment, selection, and retention of highly qualified professionals.

Education:

Masters degree in nursing business or healthcare related field

Experience:

5+ years progressive leadership experience in a multi-hospital rehabilitation leadership role

Certifications:

CRRN preferred

Licenses:

Licensed as appropriate in the State of practice.
