Yinlun TDI, LLC is searching for an Engineering Manager for our Houston HQ carrying out a mission to serve our North America customers with first class services, cutting edge technologies and advanced manufacturing capabilities. The responsibilities of this individual are to provide technical lead in new program acquisitions, existing program development activities, and act as liaison between customers and Yinlun HQ China.

Brief Summary of Position

The responsibilities of this individual are to provide technical lead in new program acquisitions, existing program development activities, and act as liaison between customers and Yinlun HQ China. You will collaborate with our engineering team to develop new applications and improve upon existing ones that will serve our clients and business well. Must be able to objectively analyze application performance and effectively implement necessary changes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. As the technical leader, the engineering manager shall explore potential market trends and provide insightful judgement helping the company with its goals and objectives.

2. The engineering manager shall also take initiatives to approach potential customers and grow own engineering team by exploring and securing more new business opportunities.

3. Understand and interpret customers' RFQ requirements and prepare technical solutions to meet customer requirements in packaging and performance.

4. Communicate effectively with external customers, tier 2 suppliers, and internal functional departments.

5. Assess project feasibilities by analyzing technologies, resources, and market needs.

6. Effectively collaborate with customers on engineering change process and lead internal implementations.

7. Resolve the in process and postproduction issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the management.

8. Develop and implement standards and procedures for engineering and technical functions.

9. Perform administrative work, such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, and implementing work environment ethics.

10. Possess the ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

§ Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace) required.

§ Minimum 7 years' experience in automotive or commercial vehicle industry, preferably in cooling systems and heat exchangers.

§ Experience in leading cross-functional teams and providing leadership roles in engineering disciplines.

§ Extensive experience in APQP execution

§ Hands-on experience in new product development and validation methods in automotive industry.

§ Familiar with various manufacturing methods desired - such as plastic injection molding, aluminum die casting, CAB and vacuum brazing, aluminum, and steel stamping.

§ Excellent communication and presentation skills.

§ Ability to handle multiple projects, complete tasks on-time, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

§ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Language: Bilingual language a plus, Chinese and/or Spanish
