The Vice Principal (VP), under the direction of the principal, will assist in the implementation of school and Department of Catholic School policies for faculty, staff, families, and students. The VP will act as the administrative assistant to the Principal and acts as Principal in the absence of the Principal.
This position will share responsibility for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of site personnel. The Vice Principal will carry out management responsibilities in accordance with DCS policies and applicable laws. These responsibilities may include: interviewing, hiring, and training new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Job responsibilities include:
The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Helps design and implement programs to support Catholic identify, integrate the Catholic faith in all policies, and maintain Catechist certifications.
•Assists the school principal in all activities related to the school's curriculum, programs, personnel, and facilities as assigned.
•Participates in the assigned administrative procedures and reports in the operation of the school, including attendance, insurance, health
