Product Development Director Wayne, NJ 120k Our ideal candidate for the Product Development Director role is a very organized and diligent individual who demonstrates strong managerial skills, effective communication, a strong work ethic, and prioritize and balance multiple projects. This individual works well in a fast-paced workplace, and will ensure there is collaboration intradepartmental and interdepartmentally and will create, monitor, manage, and execute the Department’s KPIs and corresponding metrics. Roles & Responsibilities: • Research, design, and develop new Private Label products • Spearhead sourcing of products and communicate with the overseas partners • Study and learn about all our active products • Provide management and coordination of Industrial Design and 3-D Files • Work on product Launch from beginning to end including graphics, content, and specs • Handle issues with defective products and arrange testing of products • Handle Quality Control • Oversee packaging, user guides, content, spec sheets, infographics, images, QR codes, making UPCs for Stock and Kit SKUs • Maintain a Pro/Dev calendar of deliverables and system for real-time updates • Create, implement, and automate workflows for the Dept., factories, and satellite offices • Organize and structure several different catalogs • Lead the efforts related to the Labels & Regulations requirements • Review and resolve customer service requests from multiple departments • Act as the liaison between Pro/Dev, Leadership, vendors, and consultants Qualifications: • Strong project management experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace • Excellent written and oral communication skills • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills • Comprehensive understanding of schematics, different materials, and the construction process involved in developing new products is preferred • Experience with 3D/CAD software is preferred Email resume to: frimie@maiplacement.com
