About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the technical team in developing a pioneering Web3 operating platform. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, engage with customers to enhance user experience, and be hands-on in code writing. Responsibilities include implementing and enforcing engineering best practices, defining the technical strategy, and representing the company externally. The role also involves mentoring engineers, driving company culture, and balancing technical considerations for the short- and long-term. A product-driven mindset, experience in the crypto space, and a strong desire to work in a very early-stage startup are essential.Candidates for this role should have a BS or MS in computer science or a related technical field, with at least 5 years of hands-on software engineering and technical leadership experience. Experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and a proven track record of delivering large initiatives from concept to implementation are required. The ideal candidate will be fluent in design documentation, have a problem-solving approach, and possess a deep empathy for customers. A proactive, delivery-focused mentality, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, is crucial.
