Job Description
As a Tax and Estate Planning Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal counsel to high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses on tax planning and estate planning matters.   • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and develop customized tax and estate planning strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance on various tax-related matters, including income tax, gift tax, estate tax, and generation-skipping transfer tax.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced healthcare directives, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors, to coordinate comprehensive planning solutions for clients.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate potential impacts to clients proactively.
  • Represent clients in tax audits, disputes, and other proceedings before regulatory authorities, advocating for their best interests.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and exceptional communication skills.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing in tax law and estate planning, preferably at a reputable law firm or financial institution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing complex tax and estate planning strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze financial data and legal documents effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional client service and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
