What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health This role will be responsible for assessing customer needs, learning our customer facing tools, and developing a business support strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and marketing tools. Refreshing and building new marketing collateral will be an integral and ongoing part of the role as well as supporting and training internal and external customers. As part of project management, this role will be responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy including customer need identification, product or service offering, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability. Job Summary

The Product Manager, Product & Solutions Marketing executes marketing strategies and project management for products to differentiate Cardinal Health’s products and to grow revenue, market share, and customer awareness. Based on Marketing strategies and initiatives outlined by the Director, the Product Manager aids in the creation and maintenance of current tools and systems and creates marketing content and campaigns for a variety of solutions. This job coordinates cross-functionally to gain insights and alignment across relevant stakeholders, manages relationships with suppliers, and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns. This role should demonstrate knowledge of marketing strategies, product management and collateral development for web and mobile applications. Learns and understands the functionality of Pack Manager and related software including Mobile App. Able to design reference and training collateral for Pack Manager updates, training material and FAQ. Investigates possible marketing opportunities on LinkedIn, etc., for Pack Manager. Reports feedback from internal and external customers and helps to prioritize update projects to systems. Helps initiate VOC’s for Pack Manager and summarizes findings both internally and externally. Tracks and analyzes competitive activities and market developments to guide development effort Responsibilities Project management and prioritization skills in a lean environment Builds power point presentations with clear and succinct messaging Develops and updates marketing collateral for Pack Manager web, as well as Pack Manager Mobile, and other future applications Understands/learns Highspot, uploading methods, maintains the Pack Manager web page information and design Manages marketing materials in Pack Manager Manages third-party and vendor relationships as needed for development of marketing collateral. Reaches out cross-functionally for project management purposes and reports back on project progress, next steps, etc. Assists w large projects in various capacities Comfortable using, exploring and reporting on internal and external relative technology information. Strategic thinking and growth mindset Marketing creativity when designing marketing collateral such as banners, etc. Interest in learning the industry and our customers’ business needs Process-oriented, and interested in building process where none exists Implements developed strategies and tactics for both manufacturers and Cardinal Health. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred 4+ years experience in related field preferred Advanced user of data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, etc) Ability to problem solve and challenge norms Ability to independently manage projects and become a Subject Matter Expert on the systems and solutions being managed Knowledge of US Medical Solutions business preferred Willingness to take on new challenges and evolve with the business What is expected of you and others at this level Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects May contribute to the development of systems, tools, policies and procedures Works on complex projects of large scope Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
