ADON - Assistant Director of Nursing

We are looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON.
** $125K to $140K per year based on skills, credentials and experience **
Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON - Registered Nurse - RN Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current MA licensure as a Registered Nurse - RN.
- 1 year of ADON in Long-Term Care experience required.
- CPR and Infection Control certification required.
Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON - Registered Nurse - RN Job Summary:- Assist in Nursing administrative calls by sharing responsibility for backing up on a 24-hour per day, 7 days per week basis.
- Monitor unit activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance and provide feedback.
- Assist Director of Nursing with managing budget.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident/patient activity and ensure resident/patient quality care.
- Regularly inspect the facility and nursing practices for compliance with federal, state and local standards and regulations.
- Assure proper handling and emergency care of residents/patients, personnel, and visitors.
- Assist as needed in care plan development.
- Attend Leadership meetings and assist in coordinating activities of Nursing Service with other departments of the facility.
- Assist Director of Nursing in the completion of the Incident/Accident and grievance process.
- Assist in determining the staffing needs of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that quality care is maintained.
- Respond to codes and other emergency situations, evaluate and document actions taken.
- May be required to provide direct nursing care to residents/patients.
- Monitor and participate in the MDS process.
