JOB SUMMARY: Receives, stores and issues food and supplies in a safe and sanitary manner. Maintains records, assists with inventories, and places orders according to established procedures. Receives and checks all food items and supplies and assured they are the appropriate quality and temperature and then stocks and rotates all food and supplies. Cleans and sanitizes all walkins and freezers.
REQUIREMENTS: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; Less than 1 year of experience.
COOK JOB SUMMARY: Prepares and cooks for hospital patients, employees and visitors; ensures that all foods are prepared on time and and all work areas and equipment are maintained according to Hospital and departmental policies, safety and sanitation requirements. Duties performed will vary depending on specific areas assigned. Other duties may be assigned by Executive Chef and/or Sous Chefs.
