SEMCOA also provides residential recovery home treatment to individuals with substance use disorders, as well as transitional and permanent housing stability and support programs. Our portfolio also includes two graduate sober houses, the Family Preservation Program, as well as Greater Brockton and Greater Attleboro Taunton Healthy Families programs.Clinical Director Duties & ResponsibilitiesCompliance with federal regulations, 42CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol AbusePolicy, and HIPAA regulationsCompliance and working knowledge of applicable HPAO policies and proceduresProvide direct client services, carry a minimal caseload if necessary, assessment andtreatment planning skills, proven case management abilitiesInteract with local and community service networks in a manner that enhances the publicrelations of the facility, and increases community servicesAttends all programmatic, organizational and committee meetings as assignedProvide individual and group supervision to Program Manager and clinical staff,maintain appropriate documentationManage payroll, time off requests, approve timesheetsDevelop and recommend Performance Improvement Goals and objectives for ClinicalTeamRoutinely review resident charts to ensure that the structure and substance are in accordwith licensing and accreditation standardsMeet with Program Manager regularly to review all program process issues and all issuespertinent to quality care and organizational health and viabilityAll other duties as assignedClinical Director RequirementsKnowledge of addiction, mental health issues and the treatment/recovery processAbility to work effectively with state systems, knowledge of and adherence to the laws andregulations regarding state and federal licensing requirementsFamiliarity with relevant professional codes of ethics, client's rights, and boundariesCompetence in working within a structured human service setting, program managementand development, development and maintenance of effective interdepartmental andinteragency collaborationsStrong and effective verbal, written, and organizational skillsKnowledge of basic computer skills and software programs, ability to learn, use, and trainHPAO's electronic medical recordExperience in staff supervision and trainings, performance appraisal, recruitment, hiring,evaluationCertification in the HPAO approved de-escalation programParticipate in annual TB ScreeningCPR CertificationClinical Director QualificationsMust hold a Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field:Clinical Psychology, Education-Counseling, Medicine, Psychiatric Nursing, RehabilitativeCounseling, or Social Work.At least two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experienceAt least one year full time equivalent year of clinical supervisory experienceLADC1 or other independent licensure.Maintain and submit any/all licensure or certifications as necessary for the position.
