This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, make up this vibrant community and also encompasses an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. We are looking for a Child Care Director to support Ebenezers Intergenerational childcare program by caring for our children in their assigned age group and providing supervisor for assistant teachers and aides. Our Child Care Director manages and directs the on-site Child Care Program, ensuring compliance of all local, state, and federal laws governing child care are adhered while creating a meaningful intergenerational program for children and seniors.

Responsibilities/Job Description:

• Exercises supervisory responsibilities and ability to lead all aspects of the program elements and provide direct care when needed
• Facilities Management (facility compliance requirements, coordinates with the Chef and kitchen to ensure DHS compliance)
• Supervises the maintenance of the facility and grounds and provides direction to appropriate staff and/or vendors as vital
• Ensures the facility is in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations
• Supervises Child Care staff and volunteers

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

High school Diploma/GED

1-3 years experience in similar role

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
3-5 years experience in similar role

Experience with intergenerational programming
