The Senior Product Manager/Associate Brand Director is responsible for leading the marketing effort across the Heron product portfolio. Key duties include building strategic and tactical plans for all products and executing those plans effectively while staying within budget. Cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic alignment across the organization will be a priority and effective communication skills are critical. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Closely partner with Sales and Marketing Leadership, Legal, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to obtain buy-in, and gain approval for effective sales and marketing initiatives. Manage the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) review process, including managing PRC review meetings, monitoring review/approval timelines, and ensuring timely production following regulatory submission to OPDP. Direct and manage agency partners to execute initiatives such as sales material development, non-personal tactics, convention support materials, and/or sales training materials. Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and proper production of marketing materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the product portfolio. Plan for and implement successful congress presence across Heron meetings of interest. Prepare for and support National/Regional Sales Meetings and ensure alignment of the agenda, purpose, and execution. Execute, interpret, and summarize market research that helps guide strategic direction and commercial focus. Closely monitor product performance and maintain a high level of understanding and command of its performance metrics including volume trends and revenue generation.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in a related field of study. Would consider equivalent experience. 7+ years minimum experience in sales and/or marketing within the pharmaceutical or other life science industry; experience with hospital marketing in the acute care space is strongly preferred. Proven oral and written communication skills, including presenting at national meetings, and conducting training for internal and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior and executive management. Robust organization, prioritization, and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Thorough working knowledge of all Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to produce spreadsheets and reports.
