Reputable Rhode Island-based General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team - The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing construction projects in the commercial, academic, and/or health care sectors.

Description

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate and oversee all on-site construction activities
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations
  • Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure that project goals are being met
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports
  • Identify and manage project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects in the commercial, academic, and/or health care sectors
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards
  • Experience with construction software and project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
