Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment:
Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.
We are a dedicated ECMO unit that works with both Critical Care and Cardiac Intensivists. The unit is 8 beds that sit within a 32 bed CCU and houses both VA and VV ECMO. On average our patient population is a 50/50 split of VA and VV. As a bedside nurse you will provide care to the patient, while a free-floating RN ECMO specialist cares for the pump.
