DescriptionWe are seeking a strong leader to fill our Regional Property Operations Manager role. The team member will become an expert in our property management process and ensure that their property teams are well-trained and supported such that our properties are operating efficiently and to the Fairlawn standard. Based in Indianapolis, IN, the Regional Operations Manager is accountable for the successful operations of a portfolio of properties scattered throughout Northwest Indianapolis and Avon, IN. This includes ultimate ownership of talent, training on and execution of the property management process, and keen oversight of the leading indicators of successful property performance. The Regional Operations Manager would have strategic and operational roles in the onboarding of assets, as well as providing ongoing management and leadership to Property Managers. Plus, the process is rewarding, and the results are great for your careerRequirementsWho you are - We'd love to hear from you if you:Have at least 7 years progressive of management/operations experience, with a strong customer service background, preferably in property management or hotel management Have at least 3 years of people/supervisory experienceHave a bachelor's degree OR 5+ years of Property Management Experience in lieu of a Bachelor's DegreePreference to candidates holding at least one industry designation/certification (Such as CPO, COS, ARM, CPM, HCCP etc.)Are proficient with relevant technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, AppFolio, Outlook) and can easily adapt to changing technologyExperience working with financials, budgets, customer service, and sales skillsDemonstrate superior attention to detail, high energy, and a positive attitudeHave the ability to give and receive real-time feedback with a positive mindsetHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsHave a strong understanding and experience with budgets and overall financial reportingEmbody our core values: Be Kind, Be Flexible, Own It, and Always ImproveSome additional things you will need:A valid driver's license and dependable vehicleFlexibility to be "on the go," regularly visiting properties and working from multiple locationsTo serve as one of the emergency contacts for the communityAvailability to work longer hours and weekends during prime leasing season and turnover (specific dates vary from year to year)Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position resident communications, not limited to ability to walk properties, complete physical inspections, deliver communications, and show propertiesWe are seeking candidates who demonstrate a strong alignment with the requirements listed above.
