Position Overview:
As the ERP System Manager / Project Manager, you will be instrumental in advancing the next phase of our Odoo ERP system. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration, working alongside various departments and external stakeholders to define and implement clear Statements of Work (SOWs) with our third-party developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative System Integration: Lead the integration of our Odoo system with our parent companys XML interface, ensuring seamless data flow and system harmony.
Third-Party Developer Management: Oversee and nurture the relationship with our third-party developers, ensuring project goals and timelines are met.
ERP System Mastery: Gain comprehensive knowledge of our Odoo ERP system, understanding each module and its business application to drive process improvements and system optimization.
Module Integration and Optimization: Configure and integrate ERP modules to enhance system efficiency, accuracy, and user experience tailored to our specific business needs.
Process Alignment and Improvement: Work closely with business process owners to align ERP functionalities with organizational goals, identifying and addressing gaps for operational enhancement.
Innovative Problem-Solving: Tackle integration challenges, including data discrepancies, by collaborating with our third-party developer and parent company to devise effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement Advocacy: Champion system and process improvements by identifying and implementing best practices and optimizations.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, or a related field. Relevant IT experience, particularly in SAP and application solution development and implementation.
Technical Skills: Experience with Odoo (preferred) or other ERP software. Demonstrated technical and mechanical aptitude.
Hands-on ERP Systems analysis, selection, deployment (has participated in at least one ERP System implementation) and management.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Proven ability to deliver projects, tasks and assignments in an evolving and demanding environment.
Language Skills: While not required, proficiency in German is highly advantageous. This skill will be beneficial in facilitating communication with our German parent company and in managing cross-cultural relationships.
