In House Opportunity for Experienced Employment Law Attorney

Korn Ferry has partnered with a Tennessee-based healthcare company in a search for a Corporate Employment Counsel. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to go in-house and join a dynamic legal team at the company's corporate headquarters south of downtown Nashville. The company owns and operates over 1,000 sites of care that includes acute care hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers and other care related centers.

Main Responsibilities:
•Experience handling federal/state and local employment laws
•Providing day-to-day advice to clients and affiliated medical facilities nationally
•Employee benefits
•Employment agreements
•Litigation including trials and depositions

Required:
•Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
•Tennessee law license active and in good standing or willing to obtain within one year
•Minimum 10 years of law firm or combination of company experience (non-government)
•Must have employment law AND employment litigation experience
•Ability to perform duties on day one (no training provided)
•Must have current trial experience
•Healthcare industry experience with multi-state/facilities a plus
