This position is full time days. The shift is Monday- Friday 8a- 4:30p at Riley Children's Hospital.

An MFM Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatricis. Performs independent sonographic images of maternal-fetal conditions. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.

  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
  • Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics & Gynecology, RDMS (OB/GYN) or Pediatric Sonography, RDMS (PS); or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Sonography, RT(S). May require additional certifications/credentials specific to fetal medicine, based on practice/clinic needs.
  • May be required to meet registry/certification requirements for another modality, if applicable.
  • May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
