Land Acquisition Responsibilities: Conduct feasibility analyses for potential acquisitions, considering entitlement status, improvement plans, environmental reports, legal review, financial analysis, and market trends. Present findings to the Asset Management Committee.

Managing Lot Pipeline Inventory: Identify strategic acquisitions and cultivate relationships with brokers and landowners. Negotiate legal documentation for acquisitions and ensure timely closings. Monitor compliance with agreements and focus on pipeline growth.

Land Development Tasks: Coordinate team efforts to deliver finished lots on time and within budget. Establish development standards and source geotechnical engineers. Develop and review accurate land budgets, input data into systems, and manage contractor scopes of work. Seek competitive pricing, oversee document completion, and collaborate with the Construction team.

Supervisory and Departmental Duties: Recruit and supervise department personnel, conduct evaluations, and manage employee discipline and leave. Foster interdepartmental relationships and liaise with external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Compensation: Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields and at least five years of land acquisition experience required. The current department includes a Manager and an Associate.
