Duties:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and create individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record vital signs of residents
• Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and medical records
• Educate residents and their families on healthcare management and disease prevention strategies
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families during challenging times

Experience: To excel in this role, you should possess the following experience:

• Proficiency in patient assessment and care planning

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems

• Experience with specimen collection processing

• Ability to lift and transfer residents when necessary

• Strong collaboration skills with physicians and healthcare professionals

• Capability to provide ventilator support as required

• Understanding of geriatric care practices for the elderly population

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in IA
• L.P.N. or R.N. required
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
