part of the Spring Education Group family of schools, is seeking a passionate Montessori educator to lead our team of educators in the implementation of a high quality Montessori curriculum. Responsibilities include... Teacher support • Support infant, toddler & primary teachers through classroom observations & consultation to support their development through goal setting & regular reviews. • Support the creation & continuous improvement of optimal prepared environments & schedules. • Manage teaching team dynamics & expectations for collaboration. • Support the Montessori classroom by ensuring high-quality implementation of curriculum & best instructional practices. • Provide guidance & accountability for meeting student learning standards and classroom culture expectations. Parent communication • Maintain active & ongoing communication with parents as needed to ensure & monitor their general experience as a parent. • Oversee teacher communications with parents & personally support them to succeed. Operational support • Work with the Head of School and Business Manager and Administration Team to implement both academic & operational policies and procedures as outlined. • Collaborate with Central Support Office team to carry out LePort initiatives on campus. • Ensure that a safe and nurturing environment is maintained for students & staff to operate in accordance with all governing rules. Admissions • Work with the Director of Admissions to coordinate enrollment of new children. The Essentials... • Montessori Training required (AMI or AMS preferred) • Classroom Experience (3+ years) • Excellent verbal & written communication skills • Experience in managing a team and/or an aptitude for team leadership & building strong communities • Ability to embrace and exemplify both the Montessori philosophy & Spring Education Group’s core mission • Ability to work with other campus leaders, management, & administration to implement policies & procedures To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
