Responsible for leading a group of 6 to 10 Systems Manager and Engineers Lead the development of system level requirements Oversee the Controls and Releasing activities to develop functions and features successfully Directing team to determine the gap between current state and prioritization of activities Determine where DFMEAs will be needed and develop them in the design Lead team to create Systems Level DVP&Rs and coordinate test and performance validation activities Support communication and interpretation of sub-system requirements to internal and external sources. Ensure timely completion of all system development necessary to meet program objectives and milestones Meet system corporate objectives for cost, quality, and efficiency Ensure engineering processes are consistently and effectively utilized Utilize problem solving process for resolving test, build and field, incidents to provide timely closure to issues affect quality, reliability and durability (QRD) Ensure product and all design changes are properly validated and comply with federal compliance, regulatory, and testing requirements Performs other duties as assigned by management.
