We are currently searching for a 1st Shift (7am - 3pm, M-F, occasional Saturdays) Checker position to be based out of their South Holland, IL plant. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for labeling and re-bundling strut and threaded rod to customer requirements and using a forklift to move material to and from work stations. Additional responsibilities may include small assembly jobs as needed, removing and adding couplings on IMC/GRC.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of prior fork lift and combi-lift (multi directional, long load handling fork lift) experience in a manual packing environment and experience using an RF scanner. Experience in manual labor jobs is preferable.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Proficient with sit down fork lift and combi-lift (multi directional, long load handling fork lift).

Ability to lift 45 pounds on a frequent basis.

Strong sense of time organization and sense of urgency, comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Ability to operate a hand held scanner and utilize a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment.

Must pass a drug screen and physical.
