Efforts to engage, enlighten and encourage students are designed to combat generational poverty by elevating youth out of low-income communities through education and mentor support. The Recruitment Vista member will work to increase Partnership 4 Kids’ number of volunteers by creating a strategy and processes to reach critical potential volunteer bases, like P4K alum. This VISTA role will build sustainable recruitment communication and outreach materials that ensure our students will be supported by mentors who clearly understand the role and are positive role models committed to P4K’s students' success. By serving with P4K, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives and futures of students, as you build valuable skills, experience, and relationships to propel your career even further. Upon completion of the internship, you will receive over $7000 in education funding to use for your past or future education expenses. Join our mission to inspire hope, engage minds, and launch futures! *Service begins July 15, 2024 and ends July 16, 2025.* As an AmeriCorps Member you will serve for a year, 40 hours a week, supporting the Volunteer Recruitment team through the following activities: Utilize volunteer management systems including VOMO, Give Pulse, Get Connected, and Share Omaha to share updated volunteer opportunities Use Canva and other design software to update volunteer recruitment materials and create recruitment presentations. Attend monthly meetings within and outside P4K to learn about new volunteer resources and opportunities. Collaborate with the P4K Programming and Operations teams to create an updated alumni contact list and a system for maintaining updated contact information.
