About the Role The Company is seeking a General Counsel to join its executive leadership team. This role is pivotal in providing legal advice and support on a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and business matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing corporate legal issues, including governance, securities, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. They will also lead the management of customer and vendor contracts, ensure legal compliance in major corporate transactions, and contribute to the development of legal strategies. The General Counsel will play a key part in the company's growth, particularly in the commercial production of their innovative zero CO2 cement solution, which has the potential to revolutionize the construction industry and significantly impact environmental sustainability.Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, be a member in good standing of the California Bar, and have at least 15 years of experience practicing law with a focus on corporate or business environments. The role requires a strong understanding of contract and corporate law, excellent drafting and editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading legal teams, experience in commercial transactions, and the ability to provide strategic legal guidance to support business decisions. High ethical standards, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels are essential.
