This opportunity is in the Information Technology Department.

Role Description:

In the role of the Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team who lives by Safety National's Core Values: Relationships, Integrity, Teamwork, Balance and Stability. You will work closely with the AVP, Product & Portfolio Management along with her team to protect the information assets of the company, including intellectual property, personally identifiable information and protected health information against unauthorized alteration and/or disclosure by appropriately handling and transmitting information in accordance with SN policies. Your contributions of practices and objectives that will achieve business goals and objectives will be felt throughout Safety National.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager will include contributing to the accomplishment of project/program management practices and objectives that will achieve business goals and objectives. You will work without immediate supervision and direction while leading and mentoring others within Project Management. Additionally demonstrating advanced working knowledge and concepts of IT. You may also be assigned various projects like, assisting with implementation of the particular area of focus within Project Management, following strict guidelines and PMLC/SDLC processes.

The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent written, analytical, problem solving and verbal communication skills, motivated, self-directed, results-oriented and customer-focused. Some of the essentials skills required of you in this role are, working knowledge of software development life cycles (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative). Having experience in Program Management and/or related job field. Prior experience with software development life cycle is required.

Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in related field, preferred

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of working experience in IT related field

Minimum 5 years' experience in Program Management and/or related field

Working Knowledge of software development life cycles (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)

Detail oriented and possess a desire for quality

Excellent written, analytical, problem solving and verbal communication skills

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target salary range for this position is $84,000 - $135,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
