We are actively hiring for a Surgical Technologist. This is a full time opportunity, 40 hours per week, 10 hour shifts, 6:45am-5:15pm, Call is 1 night per week and every 4-5th weekend. $20,000 sign on bonus.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Surgical Technologist Responsibilities:

Prepares the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring the equipment is functioning properly and safely
Prepares the operating room and the sterile field for surgical procedures by preparing sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment using sterile technique
Demonstrates knowledge of human anatomy and pathophysiology and how it relates to the patient and surgical procedure
Anticipates usual and unexpected events during the surgical procedure and responds in an efficient manner
Handles and processes surgical specimens according to established policy/procedure
Qualifications:

Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program, required.
Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Min: USD $25.97/Hr. Max: USD $33.46/Hr.
