Senior Associate Attorney - First Party Property - Military veterans preferred

Florida based law firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate with 5-8 years of legal expertise in first-party property law to join their dynamic legal team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel, representing clients, and managing complex first-party property cases. You will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of property insurance law and a track record of successful case management. Responsibilities

Active license to practice law in state of Florida. Must meet 1800 billable hours annually. Must have experience in first party property insurance litigation and coverage disputes, along with stellar oral and written communication skills. The position will include the examination of claims, preparation of coverage opinion letters, preparation of pleadings, discovery, hearing attendance, and depositions. Represent clients in first-party property insurance matters in state and federal courts. Conduct legal research and analysis to provide effective counsel to clients. Manage a portfolio of first-party property cases from inception through resolution. Develop and implement case strategies, including negotiations, settlements, and trials. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case status and legal strategies. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to achieve departmental goals. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and legal assistants. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently manage their own cases from inception to trial. Strong litigation and trial experience, including court appearances, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
