Our law firm is growing rapidly and we are looking for a sharp and experienced family attorney who will enthusiastically represent clients in all areas of family law. You'll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. We are a mostly remote work environment where attorneys work with a team and have a 1:1 relationship with a designated paralegal. Responsibilities

•Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
•Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
•Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed
•Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process
•Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action

Qualifications

•Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona
•Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
•Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required
•Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
