MRI/CT Technologist - Military veterans preferred

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. Your expertise in diagnostic radiology and knowledge of anatomy will be crucial in providing accurate and high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation. Responsibilities: - Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians - Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety - Position patients correctly and operate CT equipment to obtain clear and accurate images - Monitor patients during scans to ensure their well-being and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies - Evaluate images for quality, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed - Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination Experience: - Minimum of [X] years of experience as a CT Technologist - Proficient in medical terminology, including knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Experience working in an emergency room or urgent care setting is preferred - Familiarity with mammography and X-ray procedures is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as [list any specific benefits].
