Join our dynamic team as a Production Planner! This role is perfect for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The starting compensation for the Production Planner role is $20/hr with potential for overtime and regular salary increases. Our client outside York, PA is open to entry level candidates! This would be a great role for a new graduate or someone with a few years of experience. Key Responsibilities for Production Planner: Oversee and update the status of production orders and associated materials. Work closely with production leaders, materials group, and purchasing to track work progress and establish completion dates. Expedite orders and associated materials as needed. Manage shipping schedules for production, inspection, and delivery. Keep up-to-date online records of customer orders. Document customer order reschedules. Develop spreadsheets, letters, forms, and other documents. Undertake special assignments and projects as required. Qualifications for Production Planner: 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees. Exceptional customer service skills. Team player mentality. Ability to clearly communicate technical data. Ability to interpret various forms of documentation, including assembly drawings, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, job orders, etc. Understanding of electrical drawings and schematics and their application to electrical assembly details.
