In the role you will report to the President & CEO. This is a high profile position and is key to the future growth of the Company. The successful candidate will serve the lead role in maintaining the complete product lifecycle to ensure success in terms of both revenue and timely release of products. In this highly visible role, you will identify market opportunities, develop business cases, define detailed requirements and work closely with the development team for successful product delivery. You will be responsible for defining product requirements, ensuring a world-class user experience and owning the long-term product roadmap. In addition, you will work closely with marketing to assist with product positioning, messaging, product collateral, website content, and programs to position the product as the leading field service management product for the residential and light commercial market. This is an exciting opportunity for an assertive, highly motivated, product manager with strong industry knowledge to join a fast-paced, growth oriented company. Requirement: PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Product Manager is expected to perform the following tasks:

- Assume product ownership and manage the product life cycle from strategic roadmap planning to tactical release activities;

- Contribute to corporate business plans, own product road maps and requirements, and serving as a product subject matter expert that support the overall corporate strategy;

- Serve as the internal and external product evangelist, working with sales, partners and key customers to develop positioning and increase market success;

- Lead the definition of product requirements using input from various sources including external sources such as market trends, industry standards/guidelines, competitive intelligence and customers as well as internal sources such as sales, professional services, and technical support;

- Organize and implement comprehensive product launch plans;

- Develop new product ideas and enhance existing products based on market knowledge and contact with customers/prospects/partners;

- Work closely with customers to obtain feedback and understand their evolving business needs;

- Work closely with marketing to define, develop, and disseminate product messages, value propositions, and positioning to optimize revenue and maximize market share;

- Manage product packaging, configuration, and licensing;

- Perform and report on competitive positioning and win-loss analysis;

- Support the sales team by reviewing RFP responses, participating in account strategy sessions, and engaging with prospective customers, where appropriate.

Requirements:

- 6-10 years of enterprise software implementation experience with at least 3 yearsin a product management role;

- Must have experience with SAAS

- Must have product management experience of B2B software

- Must have successfully shipped one or two products

- Experienced technical background in software engineering and/or software development practices;

- Proven success at serving as product owner and a desire to become the 'product expert';

- Demonstrable experience authoring product requirements documentation;

- Outstanding writing skills with an ability to convey complex, technical information in an engaging and easily understood manner;

- Demonstrated success defining and launching market-leading products;

- Experience managing and growing cloud-based software products;

- Strong communication skills; ability to speak to, as well as influence, engineers, product and project managers, corporate leadership, partners, and customers;

- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to rapidly develop and cultivate relationships with peers, partners, and key influencers;

- Ability to identify and discuss both the big picture as well as necessary details to bring ideas to fruition;

- Ability to see all tasks through to completion, consistently, with a high attention to detail;

- Demonstrated ability to participate effectively as part of and within a team atmosphere required;

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly to groups, and create and deliver effective, polished presentations;

- Must have high energy level, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive approach to work, confidence;

- Strong decision making skills and excellent judgment;

- BA or BS degree and/or equivalent experience required;

- MBA preferred.

Preferred experience:

- Experience in the HVAC, plumbing or other field service market is a plus
