Retail Construction Project Manager - Military veterans preferred

Our client is a Charleston-based commercial construction company seeking a Bilingual Construction Project Manager to oversee projects in the US and Puerto Rico. This company has a long history of success in construction of commercial/retail buildings throughout the Southeast.

We are seeking an individual who is fluent in English and Spanish as they've recently expanded their services into Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the project during the construction phase from contract negotiation to project completion.
• Lead and manage various project teams including superintendents, project coordinators, subcontractors .
• Submit weekly progress reports including photos, prepare for and attend weekly conference calls.
• Coordinate permits required for construction, review design documents, and negotiate contract agreements with clients.
• Monitor subcontractor performance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Commercial construction experience
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Commercial retail fast track construction experience
• Ability to understand, reconcile, review AIA requisitions, project budget and schedules
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelors Degree a plus
