A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.What you will need: Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and programAssociate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hireLicensed in the State of Michigan1 years of experience as an RN required if new grad must apply to RN residency that takes place three times a year in February, July and OctoberWhat you will do: Preparation of patients before procedure. Instruct patients about at-home prep for procedures. As part of the procedural team you will be assisting the physician during procedures. Provide nurse sedation during a procedure. Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit Clean scopes according to manufacturer instructions.
