Endeavor Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Program Assistant to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional support and coordination for our behavioral health services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete reports to referral sources as required.
- Complete authorization forms to send to managed care companies for clients in program.
- Care coordination (written or telephonic) with referral sources and other entities as required.
- Coordinate and complete drug screens for clients.
- Assist counselors with documentation according to agency standards.
- Assist counselors with clients in crisis.
- Consults with staff psychiatrist who is responsible for psychiatric and medication evaluation.
- Conducts discharge planning conferences and makes follow-up contacts as necessary.
- Maintains cultural sensitivity and competence with respect to agency consumers and their families, as well as other employees and suppliers.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all agency policies, procedures and governmental regulations including, but not limited to HIPAA.
Qualifications- Associates or Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Human Services or related field
- Microsoft Office experience is required
- Experience working with Cerner or similar behavioral health software preferred
