**Courier- Driver**
Position title Courier- Driver Description AcuPharm is a Long Term Care Pharmacy with a Courier position available immediately. Couriers are responsible for delivering medications and supplies to various facilities. We are located in Taylorsville, Utah and deliver as far south as Spanish Fork and as far north as Logan. The position is Part-Time (12-15 Hours /week) with Opportunities to pick-up shifts and hours. Flexibility in schedule increases hours. Deliveries take place Monday-Saturday afternoons, evenings and nights. No Sundays.
We are currently looking for someone who can deliver during the day/afternoons.
Responsibilities This is a driving position. You will prepare all shipments and deliveries, plan routes and deliver medications and supplies to various facilities and locations within their delivery time. The following is a list of reasonable duties and tasks, which may include, but are not limited to the following:
Daily deliveries to routine facilities
Additional deliveries such as a Hospice patients medication
Keep a log of all deliveries
Assist in the sorting of each route
Plan an efficient delivery route for the designated run
Bring back any pharmacy items
Pack, Label and deliver outgoing shipments
Keeping the vehicles clean
Assist in vehicle maintenance
Filling up vehicles with gas
Daily communication with facility and pharmacy staff
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of pharmacy and patient information at all times
Qualifications No Experience Needed, but experience is a plus
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen and have clean driving record
Must be 21 or older
Map-Reading Skills
Punctuality, There are specific delivery times, being late is not acceptable
Lift a minimum of 20lbs
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisor, employees
