Position Title: Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Project Manager

Company Overview:
A leading provider offering a comprehensive range of services in transmission, distribution, and substation construction.

Overview:
The T&D Project Manager oversees the operational aspects of commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project personnel.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for T&D projects within specified timelines.
  • Initiate "Requests for Information" to clients.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and construction schedules.
  • Coordinate meetings, update schedules, submit deliverables, and address client inquiries.
  • Generate look-ahead documents, progress reports, and billing information on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Maintain regular communication with management and project teams.
  • Conduct field evaluations for estimate preparation.
  • Participate in estimate review processes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in change order preparation and submission.
  • Monitor project costs versus budgets.
  • Support construction personnel in tracking and understanding cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry, specifically supporting T&D projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proficiency in interpreting specifications, proposals, and other documentation for preparing estimates.
  • Familiarity with the N.E.C. and relevant local codes.
  • Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and specifications related to electrical work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and estimating software such as Accubid or equivalent.
  • Experience in preparing construction schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external partners.
  • Self-driven with excellent task management abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
