MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)
- Required: High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent
- Preferred: Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Management, or related field
- Preferred: 2 years' experience in related field
- Preferred: Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Acute attention to detail
- Proficient on Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Experience with Infor or another ERP System
- Must be able to sign and abide by Company's employee manual and confidentiality agreement.
- Required to successfully complete a background check, job physical and drug screening.
- Must be able to work well with others that may be offering assistance.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES - Plans and establishes production orders for a wide variety of manufacturing departments involving diversified piece parts, assemblies, or tooling to conform with master production schedules.
- Ensures proper allocation to work center, load, capacity, and efficient utilization of equipment to include forecast planning.
- Monitors and tracks material inventories, production progress, and other factors that affect schedules.
- Modifies and adapts production orders and schedules; issues order changes to accommodate revisions, cancellations, or priorities.
- Interfaces with all appropriate departments/staff in schedule creation, progress updates, problem analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
- Prepares all required reports, paperwork, and correspondence.
- Develops Job Packets in alignment with Production needs.
- Updates production orders to report status.
- Monitors and updates production material safety stock, reorder points, minimum/maximum production amount.
- Works with other departments to monitor and update Bill of Materials and Routings for production material.
- Assists Purchasing with prioritization of order placement.
- Ensure all packets have proper corresponding documentation per the schedule and that the packet is given out to the proper departments.
- Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
- On-going communication with all departmental personnel to ensure a common understanding of production packets and the schedule.
- Ensure all packets are made and presented 2 weeks prior to the scheduled start date determined by scheduling.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
