Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to fill an opening with a long-term care and sub-acute facility located in Jersey City, New Jersey

Requirements of the Registered Nurse:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Must have a current registered nurse licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a skilled, long-term care nursing facility; sub-acute experience is preferred
  • Must be able to relocate before starting to work

Benefits of the Registered Nurse:

  • The salary for this position is $39 - $43 / hr
  • Benefits are competitive and negotiable

Schedule of the Registered Nurse:

  • This is for a Full-time or a Part-time position
  • All shifts available
  • Monday to Friday, rotating weekends
  • Supplemental schedule: Extended hours, Holidays, Overtime

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate a resident/patient plan of care, assign a nursing diagnosis, and document nursing orders to direct the care
  • Perform direct services for residents/patients such as administrating medications and providing treatments, providing personal care to facilitate continual assessment and evaluation, and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Coordinate the communications of resident/patient care needs with members of the other disciplines utilizing an in-depth knowledge base to ensure comprehensive follow-through on issues
  • Compare and interpret previous and present data and information; report and record pertinent data; recognize, correct, and report safety concerns
  • Plan and initiate resident/patient and family health education
  • Function independently with minimal direction from the Unit Manager; assumes charge and staff nurse responsibilities as assigned
  • Perform tasks that require the expertise of a registered nurse, participate in the nursing quality assurance programs, and maintain and promote cohesive public and professional relationships, including community, resident, patient, family, and physician services
