Duties/Responsibilities:

General duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate front end loaders, skid loaders, and various other equipment safely and effectively in order to lift, haul, push, roll, load, and/or move aggregate related materials
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment
  • Communicate actions with crew members using hand or audio signals
  • Ensure that safety standards are met
  • Maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance tasks and/or making minor repairs
  • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition
  • Mentor and teach colleagues with less experience
  • Perform general labor and other construction related duties as required
  • Attend trainings and safety meetings
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Store and clean machinery at its designated location and note any deficiencies
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in all types of terrain
  • Able to meet all physical requirements
  • Able to work around loud noises and can tolerate being exposed to odors, gasses, dust, etc.
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and in excavated areas
