**Description**

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

SAFETY FIRST Every employee of Cellofoam North America Inc. must demonstrate a strong commitment to following all safety standards, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.

General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.

Work with Production Supervisor to develop a schedule that meets production needs.

Load or unload trucks either by hand, forklift, or by pallet jack.

Load to maximize board footage on trailers.

Maintain load sheets.

Verify counts.

Adjust shipping documents accordingly.

Unload incoming material and place in proper inventory area.

Inspect incoming material for damage and accurate count.

Notify supervisor of any discrepancies or damage.

Transfer blocks from molding area to proper storage area.

Transfer molded shape parts throughout the facility.

Transfer blocks from storage area to cutting lines.

Ensure accuracy of block type transferred to the appropriate cutting line.

Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and communicate with appropriate personnel to order replacement product as needed.

Must be able to operate forklift within the safety guidelines established by Cellofoam and remain certified to do so.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.

Prior forklift experience preferred.

Experience with maintenance/mechanical systems preferred.

**Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

Comprehension of the English language, in both written and spoken form, is preferred.

Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools (i.e., ability to read a tape measure within 1/32).

**Training Requirements:**

General Safety.

Quality System Awareness.

Forklift certified.

Must be verified by supervisor to be able to sign off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 60 days of hire. Physical Demands:

Moderate to heavy physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift.

Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 pounds; and safely operate assigned machinery.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS:**

Workdays: Monday through Friday

Hours: As assigned by site manager

Schedules may include overtime hours in order to meet the demands of plant operations.
