POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing CT for diagnostic procedures and guidance for interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
6 months related experience.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: State of Florida HRS Licensure as a "General Radiographer"; ARRT Registration RT(R). Advanced level certification in CT is required within 6 months of hire date. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
