PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - Military veterans preferred

St. Mary's Health System, a member of Covenant Health, is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy! Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech prepares for dispensing prescribed medication and other pharmaceuticals, compounds, and medication and prepares intravenous admixture, intravenous medications, and chemotherapeutic agents according to professional standards and practices. Responsibilities: + Prepare medication for the restocking of Pyxis medication stations + Prepare IV medications, IV admixture, and parenteral nutrition solutions using professional standards for aseptic technique + Prepare chemotherapeutic agents using specialized procedures and equipment using professional standards and aseptic techniques Education and Requirements: + High-School Diploma or GED required + Previous experience preferred + License/Certification within one year of hire required + Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required + Commitment to the mission and values of Covenant Health Covenant Health Mission Statement We are a Catholic health ministry, providing healing and care for the whole person, in service to all in our communities.
