We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Supply Chain Planning to lead our strategic planning initiatives and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing supply chain strategies to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth coordination between various departments, managing inventory levels, and enhancing overall supply chain performance. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and responsiveness throughout the supply chain. Demand Forecasting:

Utilize forecasting models and data analytics to accurately predict demand trends and anticipate future customer requirements. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop demand forecasts and production plans. Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory planning and optimization efforts to minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand. Implement inventory control measures to reduce excess and obsolete inventory. Supplier Relationship Management:

Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Negotiate favorable terms and agreements to optimize procurement processes and minimize supply chain risks. Logistics Optimization: Streamline transportation and distribution processes to minimize lead times, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency. Evaluate transportation modes, routes, and carriers to optimize logistics operations. Performance Monitoring:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply chain performance. Analyze data and performance reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and sales, to align supply chain planning efforts with business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments. Technology Integration: Leverage advanced supply chain technologies and systems, such as ERP software, demand planning tools, and analytics platforms, to automate processes and enhance decision-making capabilities. Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and disruptions within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on operations. Proactively monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events that may affect supply chain operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with a focus on strategic planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively lead and develop cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Solid understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends. Experience with supply chain software and systems, such as ERP, MRP, and demand planning tools.
